Maharashtra CM Shinde expresses concerns over former MVA government, warns opponents of potential job loss post-elections #politics

On Wednesday, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde slammed the former MVA government led by Uddhav Thackeray, stating that opponents of the Mahayuti government will find themselves ‘unemployed’ after the Lok Sabha polls. Shinde made these remarks while launching a job fair in the Thane district of Maharashtra.

During the Namo Maharojgar Melava, Shinde criticized the previous government for its failures and stressed the importance of face-to-face work over social media activism. He said, “You should have worked face-to-face rather than going live on Facebook.” The job fair reportedly received nearly 30,000 applications, with more than 5,000 individuals already hired.

In addition to focusing on job creation for the state’s youth, Shinde highlighted industrial development plans, including incentives for enterprises along the Mumbai-Nagpur Samruddhi Motorway and the establishment of industries in Gadchiroli to combat Naxalite activity. He also encouraged Thane schools to establish skill development classes similar to those offered by BMC schools.

During his visit to Kopri’s Industrial Training Institute, where he received technical training during his school days, Chief Minister Shinde launched the Swachha Bharat Skill Academy. He emphasized the importance of job creation, praised the deep cleaning campaign, and announced plans to establish skill development centers across the state. Additionally, Shinde unveiled Thane City’s Heat Action Plan.
