Owaisi brothers accused of neglecting Muslim community by BJP leader Madhavi Latha in Hyderabad turf war #politics

The Battle for Hyderabad heats up as BJP candidate K Madhavi Latha accuses Owaisi brothers of betraying fellow Muslims, claiming they have become “Ambani of Muslims”. In an exclusive interview with IANS, Latha revealed her party’s plans to challenge the incumbent MP Asaduddin Owaisi in the upcoming polls.

Madhavi Latha criticized the Owaisi brothers for their alleged ties with the Congress and their accumulation of wealth, stating, “They claim themselves to be saviors of the Muslim community but the reality is that they ditched their community, made themselves rich, and betrayed the common Muslims.”

She also raised questions about the Y+ security cover provided to AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi, questioning the rationale behind it. Latha further supported the idea of renaming Hyderabad to ‘Bhagyanagar’, claiming it as the city’s original name.

When asked about her outreach to the Muslim community, she emphasized the need for developmental policies that benefit all sections of society, irrespective of religion. Latha hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the party’s inspiration and strength, attributing the success of various government schemes to his visionary leadership.

The Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat, a stronghold of the Owaisi family for years, is now witnessing a fierce battle with Madhavi Latha’s aggressive campaign. As the General Elections approach, the political landscape of Hyderabad remains tumultuous with contrasting narratives from the rival parties.
