BJP introduces engaging “Coffee with Youth” campaign in anticipation of upcoming elections #politics

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a new campaign called “Coffee with Youth” ahead of the upcoming elections, aimed at engaging with young voters, especially first-time voters. The campaign, inspired by the BJP’s “Chai pe Charcha” initiative, focuses on interacting with urban youth in informal settings like cafes and restaurants.

The campaign was first launched in Maharashtra by the BJP’s youth wing, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha Maharashtra (BJYM). Under this campaign, speakers will address groups of 150-200 young people at cafes and gardens, discussing various successful initiatives of the BJP government and addressing their questions. The format allows for a brainstorming session where young voters can share their concerns and viewpoints with the speakers.

As part of the campaign, BJP has introduced coffee mugs featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s photo along with the slogan “Coffee with Youth.” Additionally, BJP has also launched the “Namo Yuva Chaupal” campaign targeting rural youth to interact with them in various community spaces.

The “Coffee with Youth” campaign is seen as a significant move by the BJP to connect with urban youth, who have been targeted by leftist propaganda in cultural spaces. By focusing on urban youth like artists and entrepreneurs, the BJP aims to rectify the lack of connection with this demographic and increase their involvement in the political process.

The initiative aligns with the Modi government’s youth-centric policies and programmes, emphasizing the importance of engaging and empowering the youth in nation-building. If successful, this campaign could potentially increase the share of young voters in Bharat’s overall voter turnout percentage, setting the stage for the upcoming elections.
