Dr. M.G. Prasad

Dr. Marehalli G. (M.G.) Prasad is a professor of mechanical engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology. He has widely published in the area of acoustics, vibrations and noise control. He has been a noise control expert for UN projects. He is a fellow of American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Acoustical Society of America and Acoustical society of India. Prasad is a spiritual disciple of yogi-seer Sriranga Sadguru of Karnataka, India. Prasad has written four books on Hinduism and has lectured at several universities, inter-faith forums and radio programs. He has been instructor and organizer of youth camps for several years at Hindu temples. He has organized several symposia and conferences on science and religion. He delivered invocation at the New Jersey State general Assembly in May 2008. He has received ‘Distinguished Community Award’ by New York Chapter of the Association Indians in America and ‘Award of Excellence’ by Hindu Sanghathan Committee, New York.
