Dr. Pronoy Chatterjee

Dr. Chatterjee is an internationally renowned scientist in the field of absorbent technology, worked in Johnson & Johnson for the best part of his professional career and did consulting to many US and international organizations as well as United Nations. He received several excellence awards from industries and academia and authored many scientific books and chapters, research papers and patents on scientific inventions. On the literary side, he has published many short stories and poems in magazines of USA and India and two works on fiction, “Her Own Path” and “A Living Memory,” both published in USA. He has received a Distinguished Service Award at the NABC-2008 Conference held in Canada for his literary and cultural contributions to the Indian community in North America. He had served as the Editor-in-Chief for Kallol of NJ for more than a decade. He is now the Editor-in-Chief for “Anandalipi,” an annual magazine and “Ananda Sangbad,” a quarterly newsletter in USA, sponsored by Ananda Mandir of New Jersey, as well as for “Reflection,” the literary section of Vedanta Today. Dr. Chatterjee has earned PhD and DSc from Calcutta University and did post doctoral research at Princeton University and United States Agricultural Research Center and has been living in the United States since 1963.
